What to do when you arrive in Sanur? Get your feet wet.

Sanur is a pleasant, sleepy village that spreads out along a sheltered lagoon on the south east coast of Bali. A long and recently upgraded bike and walking track goes all the way along the beach and is the perfect way to get yourself oriented with Sanur.

With no cars and motorbikes only for deliveries, the paved track is a safe and relaxed way to wander and see what Sanur has to offer. Most of Sanur's many restaurants and Warungs (simpler Indonesian style cafes) are found along the walk which is about 5km from the north to the south end. The path is sheltered by the shade of trees most of the way along, so you won't get as hot and bothered as you would on the main road.
